AEGIS fabric is a 100% ARAMID multi-layer 3D fabric designed with a patented 3D weaving architecture, optimizing its performance in impact and shock absorption, both in flat configuration and in a deformed position.

Thanks to its 3D Interlock warp weave architecture, this textile offers dimensional stability, allowing it to retain its imposed shape after forming, thus ensuring optimal retention in applications requiring durable structuring. AEGIS can be used both formed and flat without any loss of performance.

AEGIS is a dense and heavy multi-layer 3D fabric designed for protection against very high-velocity threats. It is particularly effective when used as a fibrous composite reinforcement or combined with other impact protection technologies.

Developed from a patented 3D weaving architecture, GASHA fabric is a multi-layer 100% aramid textile designed to offer exceptional impact and shock absorption, whether in a flat configuration or a deformed position.

Due to its mechanical properties, it can be easily shaped (molding, draping) while fully retaining its protective performance, including against ballistic impacts. GASHA can be used in both flat and formed versions, without any loss of effectiveness.

Its very dense 3D Interlock warp weave (> 45 threads/cm) gives it remarkable dimensional stability: once formed, the textile durably retains its shape, ensuring optimal hold in applications requiring lasting structuring. With a weight of 930 g/m², GASHA ensures very high impact absorption, even in a "stand-alone" configuration.

Designed for protection against very high-velocity threats, GASHA performs particularly well as a composite fibrous reinforcement or when combined with other shock protection technologies.

Protective equipment is not inclusive

In France, over 81,000 women — police officers, gendarmes, customs officers, prison guards — perform high-risk professions daily. However, they still do not have body armor genuinely tailored to their physique. Current models, primarily designed for male physiques, lead to discomfort, restricted movement, and, most importantly, unequal protection against impacts.

At Tibeka Protections, an industrial startup and French manufacturer of innovative fabrics, we have chosen to address this issue with a strong conviction: ballistic protection must be inclusive.

The result of several years of research and patented 3D weaving technology, we have developed GASHA, a ballistic fabric capable of reconciling two previously incompatible properties:

- Extreme impact resistance (impact protection fabric).
- High formability, allowing it to conform to body shapes, particularly female ones.

Manufactured from high-performance fibers, such as aramid (Kevlar®, Twaron®) or Dyneema®, GASHA stands out as an innovative, flexible, and formable fabric, designed for applications in defense, civil security, and aerospace.

Thanks to GASHA, Tibeka Protections has designed the first prototype of female body armor, specifically designed to offer comfort, freedom of movement, and optimal protection. Supported by the Agence Innovation Défense (AID) and the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), this innovation paves the way for a new generation of personal protective equipment.

Numerous visits for a major industrial innovation

On May 23, at the VivaTech exhibition, Tibeka Protections presented its female body armor to the public for the first time at the Lille European Metropolis booth (H46 – Hall 1). Visitors were able to discover and try on this prototype, a true demonstration of the potential of the innovative and recyclable 3D ballistic fabrics we are developing.
